My goals for this year are to get good grades, make some new friends, and to become more active. Usually, it is very hard to achieve personal goals, especially if it involves working or some other tedious activity.
I wish to get better grades this year than the grades I received last year. I have already started to decrease the time I spend watching television, and playing pointless games on my computer and gaming console. Though I was pleased with most test scores, I am aware that I could have done better. Unlike last year, I am now determined to study for tests more often; I hope this will improve my grades significantly. Though I was pleased with most test scores, I was aware that I could have done better. Sleep is also an important factor in how well you do in school, your organs perform better with rest. This is why I will make more time for sleep in my schedule, with any luck; I will see an improvement in my grades. My current goal is to get a healthy 10 hours of rest before school starts in the morning. Following this list of procedures, I will hopefully get better grades.
This year, I hope to make new friends. Even though making friends is not always easy, having them can give you a comforting feeling. One way I intend to make new friends is by helping confused students, like freshmen and other new students, around the school. I have proved this method successful; I have already made some freshmen friends through gym class. Next, I will introduce myself to people I do not know, instead of keeping to my friends, and myself as I did last year. Finally, I will help people with work, if they need help, or even ask others for some assistance. In my Algebra II class, I have already helped many people and have made friends this way. Having friends has a nice effect on your public personality, which is why I am trying to make as many as I can.
