SHOULD WESTERN STYLE INDUSTRIALIZATION BE
This question is one of the most important questions
today. The lessor developed countries (LDC) citizens
struggle through life and must fight through harsh diseases,
bad living conditions, and sever malnutrition. These people
don't need a months supply of rice, what they need is a
supply of seeds to plant food, and then the food can be given
There are many people that agree with this statement,
when we (developed countries) give the LDC's food we are
just making them more dependent on us. But if we simply
give them some crop seeds they can create their own crops
and from that feed all their some of their people, then from
some of those crops left over seeds make more crops and
keep going in that cycle until everyone has food.
Industrialization will come as soon as the huge poverty of the
LDC's goes down. This progress is slowly happening right
now even though it does not look like it, countries are
decreasing the gap between the rich and the poor, and the
Western style industrialization should not be introduced
because the LDC's are just not in the same development
stage as the higher developed countries (HDC) are. The
LDC's should be treated separate and more delicate than the
HDC's, because of their misfortunes. The now HDC's were at
one time just like the LDC's because of their old style of
ruling, and very high poverty rate, but very slowly these
countries became what they are today and all the LDC's have
to do is wait the hard struggle the HDC's did, and all of the
worlds nations will be highly developed.
The wars in the LDC's are an actual step towards a
better living. These wars are started mostly by rebellions
that do not like the current way the government is being run.
