Going to college was a difficult thing for me to do because of all the tribulations that had happened to me just before it was time to go to college. In mid August my grandfather died and it was hard for me to deal with but something told me to just go and get my mind off of things. About two weeks after my grand fathers death my family found out that my uncle was terminally ill with cancer and did not give him long to live and at that point I was thinking that I needed to be with my family and spend as much time with my uncle as possible. My mom and I talked about it for a while we again decided that it would be best if I went to college. My older brother went to college but it did not work out and he ended going back home and now I see all the problems he is having in trying to finding a job and getting back into school and I do not want to go through all of that.
             I knew that I wanted to go to college but I just did not know where. I wanted to come because I wanted to prove myself to everyone who doubted me. The most important reason I came to college was because I wanted to get an education so I would be able to get a job after college. While I was in high school my father was going from job to job and we did not know if I was going to be able to afford me to go to the same high school and graduate with my friends because we did not have the money. I was worried every year was I able to go back to my high school and be with my friends. When I graduate from college I want to have a stable job so when I do have kids they do not have to worry about not being able to graduate with their friends.
             The main reason I chose Gordon College was because they had the major I was looking for. I want to major in Physical Education and Coaching. I want to be a high school P.E. and Health teacher and coach high school baseball. I love sports so I wanted to do something with sports and be around it. I was looking a
