Persuasive

             Apparently, the government is considering not allowing the American public to celebrate holidays in public places. I, as an American teenager and citizen, feel that this policy is too restricting. I do not agree with not celebrating holidays in public places. Please, allow me this opportunity to express my viewpoints.
             In my opinion, not displaying religious holiday celebration practices might create segregation problems. Not having knowledge of other holiday practices is like putting Americans in a box and closing the lid. Americans have learned a great deal about combinations of culture so we are "the melting pot!" Take away that knowledge and we will go back to not learning others differences due to ignorance! We need to share in order to care.
             In addition, not displaying religious holiday celebration might create segregation problems. Not having tolerance for other holiday celebrations might create a problem for other religions, because they might get mad that other religions have holiday celebration practices. Some religions are not aloud to have holiday celebration practices. We are lucky to be able to have holiday celebrations. If we had some tolerance for other religions we would not have to care about them getting mad at us.
             Frankly, not displaying religious holiday celebration practices might cause problems. If we did not display holiday celebrations other religions will not know what our religion is like. They would not know what we are like. We are lucky to have so much freedom in our area. If we shared holiday celebration practices then nobody would feel left out and there will be no problems.
             In conclusion, not allowing Americans to celebrate religious holidays in public areas is not American! Americans are used to doing and saying what they think or feel! Taking away an American's right to celebrate a religious holiday in people will cause many problems. First, Ameri
