t will be first to rise and together with the living saints will be caught up to meet Him in the air ( Thessalonians 4:16, 17). It will be a glorious and triumphant event, Christ comes for His saints. He comes with His retinue of angels: "When the Son of man comes in his glory, all the angels with him, then he will sit in his glorious throne" (Matthew 25:31). After the rapture of the true Christians, the people left on earth will believe a well conceived lie. This lie will "explaine away" the truth of the rapture, and many will believe it. The lie could be anything from aliens to forces of nature.
