Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut
Slaughterhouse Five bu Kurt Vonnegut is more interesting for me to discuss all categories studied in the lecture. Ýt is one of the fantastic stories.
Slaughterhouse Five of Kurt Vonnegut is a very personal novel which draws Vonnegut's own experience in World War Two. He was a prisoner of war and a witness to the fire-bombing of Dresden. The novel narrates the life of Bill Pilgrim including his experince in the Second World War. The Dresden Slaughterhouse is a place where American prisoners are kept. Vonnegut manages to tell the reader many things and it is hard to decide, what exactly is the main theme. It is a novel about war, about the cruelty and violence done in war, about people and their nature, their selfishness, about love, humanity, motion and death.
