Today was the first day of the rest of my life. It started like every other and finished just the same. On the brink of sleep, one thought caught my attention, making it impossible for the night to go on without some kind of evaluation. I figured maybe this should be the topic of my assigned paper. The health provider, the pillar of the community, someone that is ethically untouchable, and morally just. How does such a man exist? Where has he come from and what is it that has honed this honorable man?
             While growing up, it had always seemed that the rules never applied to me. I was always good at talking my ways out of situations and I felt it my duty to push the envelope. I'm not sure why I was this way, it just seemed as if that was the way life was meant to be lived. Of course I over broke the rules on many occasions, got caught on different occasions and punished. To say the least I had an interesting childhood. This is not to be blamed on my parents, my neighborhood or the school in which I learned, for some reason the rules bored me and I felt the need for entertainment.
             I go through good times and bad times, as everyone does I'm sure. Since about my sophomore year in High School I learned how to bend the rules in ways that were a little more challenging, and a lot less harmful. I bent the rules and became class president. I bent the rules and took 2 classes my senior year. I bent the rules and helped my friend become prom king. I bent the rules and am now an in-state student here at Colorado. Was any of this particularly wrong? To me it was always the politics of life.
             While driving down the street at 35 miles per hour (the speed limit,) I noticed how many people flew around me giving me a dirty look to show their disapproval.
