I was very happy when Darcy and Elizabeth started "bumping" into each other. I think Lizzy was trying to tell herself that he no longer loved her, and that is why she was so confused when Darcy would visit. It is very obvious that he loves her because he continually goes to the park where he knows she enjoys taking walks in. Although Elizabeth refused Darcy's proposal, I think she will still marry him in the end. When he proposed she was mad at him for two very good reasons. For him convincing Bingly not to marry Jane, and because of the whole Wickham situation. However, Darcy explains everything and gives very good answers as to why he acted the way he did. Now it is Elizabeth's turn to apologize to Darcy and hopefully he will propose again.
             When Darcy was first introduced in the novel, he was portrayed as a very proud, and stuck up man. He had no interest in dancing or even speaking with Elizabeth. She was not handsome enough for him. Then when Wickham came into the storyline, Darcy was once again made proud and arrogant. Although Mr. Darcy has a good fortune, he developed into a very respectable man. He loves and respects his little sister a great deal. When Wickham intended to elope with Georgia, Darcy stopped them. He could have ruined Wickham's reputation by making his actions with his sister public, but Darcy chose not to. I want Darcy and Elizabeth to marry very badly. He is the perfect man for her.
             I admire Elizabeth a great deal. She is a very caring and respectable woman. I wish that I could live the life she lived. It seems as though she had very few worries in her life. Although she was constantly harassed by her mother to find a husband, she did not let her mother influence her decision on who to marry. She spent her days walking through the woods and did not fret about her tanned face. The only opinions she valued were from people she respected. She did not
