Race is the word given to define a group of people of common ancestry, with distinguishing physical features, such as skin color or build. The hostile or oppressive behavior towards people because they belong to a different race is called racism. For centuries, African Americans have been victims to racism which has lead to racial segregation. Racial segregation refers to the practice of creating separate facilities within the same society, for the use of racial or minority groups. White racism is the racial division of Caucasian Americans and Negro Americans whereas, "White Guilt" can be defined as the good judgment of race, equality and opportunities that whites are shamefully trying to put in play.
             White Guilt has taken over white racism by means whereas, African Americans are being granted equal opportunities such as political correctness, diversity policies and multiculturalism. Author Shelby Steele, Jr. argued his points about White Guilt and I join him when I say I totally agree on his point of view. When we refer to an individual as being politically correct, it means that they are being able to express themselves freely, without being prejudice towards others and at the same time being able to share their own point of view. When an individual is allowed to display their views on politics, they are being able to have some form of control in the way there lives are being governed. In doing so, they are also paving the way to create a different form or variety of wisdom or prudence which displays their diversity policies. At this point in time, they are also being able to depict their own cultural diversity.
             White Guilt is just one propriety in which African Americans live under in the America.
