             As soon as old major died, there had been a power struggle between 'Napoleon' and 'Snowball'. Napoleon was a rather large fierce looking Berkshire boar, the only Berkshire on the farm. He did not say much but had a reputation for getting his own way. Napoleon did not make any open speeches but instead kept a low profile he slyly went around talking to the animals whispering in there ears telling them to vote for him. Napoleon was a totalitarian he wanted all the power for himself. However, Napoleon does not get rid of Snowball straight away he keeps him to help with the running of the farm. He does not chase Snowball away until he has all the power and total control. Napoleon is a megalomaniac and a genocide maniac as well. On the other hand, there is Snowball who is frantically rushing around making public speeches and rallying the support of the animals. He is also producing plans and schemes, which will help the farm to function a lot more easily like the plans of the windmill. He promised the animals that the power from the windmill would heat the stables in winter and give the animals running hot water. This captured the animal's imagination and made them believe this was all possible. Napoleon though did not
