Ones whole purpose of going to school is to become educated, not only just book wise, but educated on life. Are schools doing their job or are they the cause for students' miseducation on life? According to John Gatto, "schools are increasingly irrelevant to the great enterprise of the planet. No one believes anymore that scientists are trained in science classes, or politicians in civics classes or poets in English classes. The truth is that schools don't really teach anything except how to obey orders."
             My purposes of being here at Delaware State is so I can get a good internship at a radio station and hopefully have my own magazine going. So far it seems as if the Mass Communication department is a little distorted, but I feel that with knowing the right people I will have a nice job in the future. I would also like to minor in business management because I plan on running my own night club/poetry lounge. In the field of Mass Communication it's all about who you know.
             As far as myself, I am young and focused. I have a great personality and I always stay true to others and myself. I am definitely who I say I am for right now. In the future I might change, but for now I am the nice guy that has a great outlook on life and wants to see my people start doing things for themselves and not waiting for a handout.
