Why should everyone participate in sports? Everyone should participate in sports while in school. The main reason why everyone should participate in sports is to be active, stay healthy, stay out of trouble, to make friends, and to meet new people. There is a sport out there for everyone. Not everyone can be a Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods but as longs as they give it their best that's what counts.
             Many people say that the main reason they don't play sports is because they didn't play in high school or they never played any as a child. They just don't realize that everybody had to start out somewhere. A lot of people who are good in sports now, never played when they were little or while they were in school. You have to give it a try, and hope that you like it. Playing sports is a good way to meet new people and to make new friends. It is amazing how people who play sports together have a bond with each other, a bond that is hard to break.
             When you play sports you learn how to have teamwork. A sport is something that you have to learn how to play together as one. Many people think that by playing a sport is just another way to get your picture in the paper or a way to become popular. They go through all that hard work just for people to know them. That just doesn't make any sense. Sports are not something that you do just to be the most popular girl on campus.
             It is a well-known fact that sports are also another way to keep teens out of trouble. When playing a sport, no matter which sport it is, you have to give it your all or you are wasting your time and your team mates time. It also takes up most of your time because you have practice everyday and then you have game day.
