Do all good books that start with a question, end with an explanation? Or does trying to cap an explanation on to the end of a story prohibit the reader from being able to apply it to his or her own life. Do you ever have that question in the back of your mind? What does my life mean? Sure you have you say, but I'm not speaking about the question as you would usually encounter it.
             It's New Years Eve and you and your family, aunts, uncles, and cousins are gathered around the fire telling stories. Not to mention that guy from across the street that swears he's related to you, you know, the one whose face looks most familiar to you facing the fridge. The one who seems to have two of the same shirts, that he doesn't mind wearing all seven days of the week.
             You have this warm feeling in the pit of your stomach, which tells you you're either too close to the fire or your life is missing something. This year your resolution has to be meaningful, it has to last you at least until March.
             Would it be cliche to say that you wanted to live every day to the fullest, and would that add the meaning to your life, that you are so desperately missing? Can we really as humans put a cap on something as complex as life, by establishing boundaries? Or is life left up to every human being to determine the meaning for themselves?
             When thinking of life, what comes to mind. There's a saying that goes "you never know what you have till you've lost it". What comes after life? Does death in the physical sense bring about the end of life? This book, this man, bring to your attention that life is not always just physical. Morrie has showed me that if you can find that peace in your soul, that happiness that life can still be good, even if you cant get up do the everyday physical things.
