In the realm of Major League Baseball, the monetary issues are composed of incredibly high numbers. Because large numbers are involved, both sides of the dispute became greedy and hard nosed. Both the players and the owners toiled and dwelled on issues of collective bargaining, revenue sharing, salary cap, and tax rates. Most people have no idea what these issues mean, even though they basically determine who gets more money, players or owners.
