Dreams

             "We are such stuff that dreams are made on." Success is dreaming, minus action. People
             too often give up on themselves or a goal simply because they lack self-confidence. Faith is the
             main ingredient in being successful. One must have faith in themself, and others. I may not be the
             prime example of this principle, but I am a believer in the theory that anything is possible.
             About a year and a half ago, I lost someone very special: my father. He didn't pass away
             or go off to the armed forces. He abandoned me and the rest of my family. To me, this was more
             astonishing than if he had died because he had chosen to leave. Events like these do alter people's
             lives. Indeed this such incident changed me. Although I miss my dad and now lack a relationship
             with him, I wouldn't change a thing. Since my father's departure, a hunger has been incited inside
             of me. I have a whole new passion for life and a desire to make a difference in others' lives. I do
             not want to see people get down on themselves or pick themselves apart like I used to. I have
             been down that road, and it is a dead-end.
             The past is what used to be. The future is filled with possibility and hope. My past has
             made me a better person. I am thankful for everything that I have been through whether it be
             good or bad. If it had not been for these obstacles, I would not be the informed, concerned
