In The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, Huck is a young boy that leaves
his hometown because he does not feel comfortable there any longer. As he is in his adventure he
faces many problems that he has to resolve by making the right choices but in some cases he
can't make the right choice so he struggles with this values. The values that he struggles with are
honesty, and courage. Even though he had to struggle with these values some how he always was
able to come thru and do the thing that is right. After many things that Huck goes thru his image
changes in his point of view and it goes from low to high.
The values that Huck struggles with are honesty and courage. Honesty he faces in many
situations and in most of them he is honest and does the right thing. When he was traveling to
with the two frauds that were the king and the duke he encounters two girls that the duke and the
king were going to rob of their money. Huck was aware of the plan and was going to go with it,
but he got attached to one of the girls so he went and told her the truth. This took courage and it
also proved his honesty. He faces the value of being courageous when he has to go save Jim
because the duke and king had sold him for 40 dollars. He struggles because he does not know
what to do either go and save Jim himself or write to the widow so she could go for him, at the
end he finds courage because of the promise he had made to Jim and rips the letter and starts to
think of a way that he can save his friend Jim.
With every dilemma he finds a way to fix it, or a way to make the problem right. He deals
with the dilemma of lying to the girls or to tell them that they are going to get robbed. He fixes
this dilemma by telling the truth, which showed that he had done the right thing and had been
