he symbols, or morals
             of the stories, are all similar. This is what is important, not the simple details,
             which are only ways of describing or teaching morals or lessons. Having
             accepted the importance of the symbols, I still had a quest for all knowledge. I
             still needed the details. I thought that maybe there were bits and pieces of truth
             in every religion that needed to be plucked and combined. This quest for
             knowledge almost overpowered me. It consumed my thoughts and
             conversations with others. I knew that in order to focus on my family and school,
             I would have to settle for just not knowing for a while, being incomplete.
             But, just when I had given in and continued my reading with Campbell and,
             then, Synchronicity, things began to fit together. I came to many realizations
             about my self and my beliefs and acquired knowledge that I didn't even know
