             The drug I have chosen is a drug most athletes prefer called Creatine. Creatine is a colorless, crystalline substance that can be isolated from various animal organs and body fluids. Creatine is a protein made from animo acids. Our body makes one gram each day from protein. We also eat about one gram of creatine each day from meats such as beef, chicken or fish. Creatine is made in only in three countries- the United States, China, and Germany. In the U.S. and Germany the governments regulate creatine manufacturers. However, in China they do not. Most inexpensive creatine on the market most likely came from china. Its best to use U.S. and German made creatine products because you know what your buying is true to the label. Some companies dilute creatine with bone meal, baking soda or it could be watered down using a cheaper ingredient.
             There are many positive results from using Creatine. If you take creatine before a workout or competition you will have more energy both at the beginning and throughout the workout. In the weight room creatine allows you to lift harder. This allows you to make quicker gains in strength and lean muscle Because a increase in vo2 Max. Vo2 Max is basically the maximum amount of oxygen you can consume per min or your maximum aerobic capacity. But, creatine helps some athletes more than others. for instance if an athlete does not eat much protein they may have lower creatine levels and see a dramatic improvement with supplementation.
             The correct dose for this pill is three times a day (9 grams) with every meal. which for some people is vary hard because they forget or they find it hard to swallow this huge pill. Companies that make creatine powder suggest "loading" 15-20 grams per day for a week. Then the dose can be reduced to a maintenance dose of 5 grams per day.
