The piece of junk mail I deiced to review was from the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC). The mail was sent me trying to convince me to sign up for the society. Once I opened it I noticed it had was the same brochure I saw at one of my military schools. I was immediately turned off; I had declined to join while I was out in Arkansas. They used the name roster to send it to me again; this had aggravated me to no end.
             This junk mail purpose was to try to inform me of some of the benefits of joining the ASMC, as well as other opportunities within the organization. Within the brochure ASMC also gave me an application to sign up for the society.
             The brochure also gives me a background on the society swell as who can sign up for the society.
             The source of the message as I mentioned before is the ASMC. The target audience was widely varied from a comptroller to the simple pay clerk within the military. The brochure list the people it was trying to reach, just in case you may have thought it didn't apply to you, here is the list.

             As you can see some of the groups included aren't areas you would think would be included.
             An introduction is not given to let you know how sent this, or what the group is about, at least not until you turn the brochure three times. The body is really hard to define because it's almost all bullets; this makes for hard reading it has no flow. It's not like most junk mail I receive because not letter attached to this brochure.
             The message isn't all that effective, I had already turned it down, and on top of that it is so choppy. The way it's set up it gives you the benefits first, then leadership opportunitie
