at I would need to do in order to achieve this. I have read in many books how powerful it is to write down your goals. This was illustrated on the first day of the course through a story about a class of students who were asked about their goals in life. Only a few students wrote down their goals, and several years later it was they who achieved their goals. I have attempted to apply these steps through developing awareness of my actions, and observing how close my actions are drawing me towards my goal. From time to time I suffer from a lack of action due to laziness. I realise this and change my behaviour by motivating myself by reading over my goals.
One of the areas of personal self-development that has intrigued me is body language. It is an integral part of NLP and its usefulness has been demonstrated during the course and through personal experiences. Practical exercises on the first study day were very interesting and enjoyable. It was amazing to learn how much information just observing a person's body language conveys.
