Clash of Titans

             Racism, Segregation, Black, White, and Predjuice are all words that are familiar with the United States of America. The greatest thing about these words is that they all has been over-come over a period of times, I am not saying that they don't exist anymore, because they do, but not so much. Most people of the United States surpassed the institutional idea of Segregation and Racism and becoming ONE unit. Unity is the strongest word I can describe the attitude and behavior of the majority of the people.
             The date is 1971, the place is Alexandria, Virginia, the event is the integration of Black and White schools, and the school is T.C. Williams, home of the Titans. Two races, Black and White: ONE school, ONE sport, ONE football team, and a few weeks at ONE camp TOGETHER. One of the players of the Titans is Gerry Bertier.
             Gerry Bertier is your average all-American football star, but his priorities are strong. He dislikes Blacks, calling them "Thieves," and refuses to play with them especially that a Black coach, who they call "Coach Coon, is replacing the head coach. (Coach Boone)" Gerry and the other White football players decided to play because Coach Yoast is going to stay as the Defense Coordinator. Gerry, who is the captain of the White team, walks up to Boone and tries to lay down the law, telling Boone to reserve half the positions for offense, front line, and special teams, and that they don't need none of "their" people on defense.
             While at camp, he is force to bunk with Julius Campbell, but we'll get to him a little later. Gerry and Julius gets into a fight because Julius puts up a poster of a Black football player holding his fist up and his head down. At the Mess Hall, they are divided with Blacks on one side and Whites on the other, with the exception of Louie Lastik.
