S. Korea brings up nukes at peace talks.
             S. Korea is pushing toward finding out about N. Korea's nuke policy and is aiming to bring up the issue at the 'talks' that are being held at Seoul, South Korea. N. Korea also denies telling U.S. that it had a nuclear program, which violates an agreement with the U.S. in 1994. This meeting is being held to decide on future reconciliation.
             This issue is in dire need of attention because a nuclear program can endanger us all, with a nuclear program comes the option of using nukes. The peace that the Koreas are heading for could influence other peaceful agreements with other countries including U.S.' problem with the nuclear program.
             In London, firefighters went on strike at 9:10 last Monday to demonstrate that they deserved better treatment. The Fire Brigades Union demanded a forty percent increase in their paychecks. There are more strikes planned in the next few weeks ranging from 48 hours to eight days.
             This is just one more indication that our hardworking emergency workers are under appreciated and that many of us take them for granted. Even though it took something like September 11th for me to recognize this fact, that I need to give more respect to police, firefighters, doctors, and other important parts of our society.
             Two Americans shot in Kuwait, one slain
             The U.S. Ambassador called the shootings "A terrorist attack". As read in the CNN.com report. The injury was shot in the arm, chest, and leg. The people involved were not named. The police said that they were shot with an AK-47. Two other shootings have occurred before this incident, one a Kuwait officer shot to soldiers at close range. In the other, two gunmen fired on U.S troops. Both terrorists were killed.
