It also gives people a strong sense of satisfaction if they are enabled a chance to see how and where their favorite celebrity lived. Examples of this type of black spot are the home of Elvis Presley in Graceland or the street corner in Las Vegas where rap artist Tupac Shakur was gunned down and killed. Many people may have never had a change during their lifetime to see these artists perform at concerts or other shows so a chance in the end to see where their idols life ended can give them some psychological benefits. However psychological benefits are not the only reason that tourists travel to the "black spot".
             Leisure travel is another aspect that explains tourist travel to "black spots". According to Wyllie (2000), tourism is the activities of those who temporarily leave home while free of primary obligations such as employment, study or community responsibilities. Thus travel to "black spots" can be described as people who are trying to get away to some leisure time and visit a place that will give them some relaxation. People of today are often stressed and therefore have the desire to travel and experience new places so they don't have to think about what is going on at home. Throughout the 20th century tourism has grown into one of the largest industries in the world. Wyllie (2000), notes that approximately three quarters of all world travel is leisure travel. Furthermore, he also states that the growth of travel is caused by the expansion of leisure travel which further coincides with growth in incomes, and life expectancy.
