TV and Life Comparison

             Television programs and feature films present an extremely accurate image of my race. As a matter of fact I find myself always taking adventures in time through a telephone booth or trying to find my car the day after a night of binge drinking. In case you didn't notice, I am being facetious, because television programs or feature films do not display an accurate image of my race.
             In order to explain my view point it might be best to give a little bit of a background description of myself. If I were to describe myself as a certain race it would be (using the general categories most commonly given), white. In a more technical aspect however, I should probably be classified as a mutt (a Mutt as being a combination of different ethnic backgrounds and races). If there is an actual term besides Mutt to describe myself, I don't know what it is. Anyway, I have more races streaming through my blood than I have fingers and toes to count (this does not make me a mutant I still have ten fingers and ten toes). The only reason I am explaining this is to exemplify the fact that I cannot use one race in particular, but rather being white as a whole. I am by the way predominantly white.
             When I see half of the movies out on the market or shows that are broadcasting out on to every one's TV, I really hope that people think we are a bit smarter than presented. It seems like all white people are portrayed as either a drug addict idiot, or a non-rhythm banker with a nasal problem and stick up his (well you know, lets keep it PG). I see shows on TV like "That 70s show," "Scooby-Do," and "The Drew Carey Show," where the actors get paid loads of money to act like idiots.
