overnment just wants the best for its country and its people. Just because that the American government does not provide haven for them does not mean they are discriminating the other nationalities. This only means that American government is exercising rational behavior and self-interest. Self-interest is often associated with selfishness, which is again, a misconception. Self-interest, according to economics, only means to improve ones self current status without hurting anyone else. Why else would America be exercising the law against illegal immigrants? It is all because for the country's economy. Again, America is just acting out of its best interest, not out of whom, for over a decade, aspired to being immigrants in the US.
