Bringing technology into the classroom will enhance a child's ability to interact with a computer system and minimize the fear many of us have acquired toward technology. Jobs will not be lost, but created, since educators will still be needed on hand for moral support and for facilitating the learning process. As well, technicians who are familiar with the hardware of the systems will be in higher demand to ensure that the systems do not encounter any problems. Teachers will need to familiarize themselves with the operating systems and programs that are available in order to answer any questions that their students might have, however learning would be done mainly by the individual student. This would then allow the individual to gain independence and various useful skills that will help them in the future. In order to begin a person's training in the world of technology, we must focus on developing their skills at a young age so that their knowledge will grow throughout the years - starting first at the primary level, which consists of Junior Kindergarten through grade 8.
