             We as people feel that an educated person has the ability to think clearly and independently, they exhibit good judgment and are always open to learning something new. Humans state that an educated person has the ability to see things as they are, to get right to the point, to break down a point of view, to detect what is sophistical, and to discard what is irrelevant (Newman, 2010, pp. 134-135). According to Newman, an educated person is able to accommodate himself to others, knows how to throw himself into people's state of mind, knows how to bring before other people his own beliefs and thoughts, knows how to influence them one way or another, knows how to come to an understanding and compromise with others, and most of all an educated person has the ability to bear with others.
             According to Newman, 2010, an educated person "is at home in any society, he has common ground with every class; he knows when to speak and when to be silent; he is able to converse, he is able to listen; he can ask a question pertinently, and gain a lesson seasonably, when he has nothing to impart himself; he is ever ready, yet never in the way; he is a pleasant companion, and a comrade you can depend upon; he knows when to be serious and when to trifle, and he has a sure tact which enables him to trifle with gracefulness and to be serious with effect" (Newman, 2010, pp. 134-135). Also, an educated person has an aim. According to Dewey, "to have an aim is to act with meaning, not like an automatic machine; it is to mean to do something and to perceive the meaning of things in the light of that intent." (Dewey, 1915, p.104)
