The Federal Bureau of Investigation was able to identify these ways of making a living as drug trafficking, murder, assault, gambling, extortion, loan-sharking, labor racketeering, money laundering, arson, gasoline bootlegging, and infiltration of legitimate businesses. Their ways were no longer considered very honorable by many and there has been very little change.
             Now, one can see that the times had changed and the ways of the Mafia had to be altered also. Upon arrival, along with most of the migration in the 19th century, times were tough.
