ield where they both died commanding a large army, The loss of their beloved sons was devastating for my mother and father to bear. It was hard time for everyone of us in our family and still has not overcome our grief. Everyone around me seemed to live a lavish life, when the whole world was in war. The dukes and counts threw countless parties in order to forget the reality, and entertain themselves to find some sort of peace.
             As a countess I have learned to play piano and violin, and have come to love music. I have become a great admirer of Ludwig van Beethoven's music. He hasn't composed nor played after people found out that he was deaf. What a horrible tragedy! Yet he still didn't loose his immense talent, and proved it three years ago with his great epic "Eroica". Our great family friend, and his Herr Prince Lobkowitz have personally invited my family to Ludwig van Beethoven concert at Theater an der Wien.
