The Moral Dilemma of Euthanasia

although, at the time I felt I had no system of morals in place, looking back today tells me that so inbreed was my code I chose morally and ethical sound answers.
             My mother divorced my father after 25 years of marriage; she had always been a "housewife". I guess you could say that by divorcing her my father reneged on his promise to take care of her in sickness and in health till death do they part and this event set the juncture, in my life, when I lost the respect for my father's sense of morals. Growing up my mother was abusive toward my sister and me. Growing up in this abuse carried on over long after we reach adulthood. The verbal abuse continued even after I had a family of my own and got progressively worse after my family moved into my childhood home. My mother had emotional problems, was extremely self-centered, and very much like a child that needed a mother to take care of her, looking back I see I am and was adult child.
