             Luis is the illegitimate son of Don Vicente. He is the son with a rich father, the heir of the Asperri fortune. He was made to live in Manila in order to have a decent education and in order to train him for the future. Luis studied in one of the school but got kicked out when he made a controversial article in one of the school magazine. In that article were the wrong doings of some of the higher officials in his school. As you can see, as early as this stage, he is acting in order to stop corruption.
