that man is similar to other animals as well, "proving" animals have a common origin (Reigle 84). Finally, the strong survive. Better, more dominant traits live on and reproduce, while the weaker ones die off, creating the whole evolutionary process. Evolution leaves out human thought and motives. If we are a mixture of chemicals, how did we ever have judgment, knowledge of right from wrong? The idea involves no moral views leaving an empty space for those who believe it.
             The main beliefs of the Christian religion are much different from those of an Evolutionist. First, most Christians believe the Bible is truth and God's word. Genesis One gives the entire account of God's creation of the world. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). In six magnificent days God created the heavens, the earth, day and night, land and water, plants and animals, and man in His own image. "And, behold, it was very good" (Genesis 1:31b). Another major point of Christianity is the knowledge of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross as atonement for our sins. On the third day after His death He rose from the dead defeating death, promising those who would accept and believe in His name, eternal life with Him in heaven. His perfect selfless gift provides us with forgiveness of our sins, as we will face judgment upon death before God. The Bible teaches one to obey his or her parents, to turn the other cheek, be forgiving, not to murder, lie, cheat, or steal. The purpose of a Christian's life is to serve God and spread the news of His love and grace, but also of His judgment. Life is not seen as an accident but a gift. Christianity incorporates both the beginning of life and morals. It simply takes blind faith. However there are many Christians who believe in creation and evolution.
