s amusing to the viewer, as Shrek had to remind the villagers to run away:
             'This is the part where you run away'
             This shows that Shrek is a comical character and maybe it shows that he is not as scary as a stereotypical ogre should be if he needs to remind them to run. When Donkey approaches, Shrek roars at him tries to intimidate him. But Donkey is not frightened. This starts off Donkeys funny Character, as when Shrek roars at him, all he does is just remark about his bad breath. He doesn't know that he is not wanted. Donkey repeatedly follows Shrek and never stops singing and talking. This is funny as this constantly irritates Shrek but Donkey does not notice, everything that Shrek says to get rid off Donkey, he takes it as a joke, makes it into a song or just thinks of a clever answer to say back.
             Wherever Shrek seems to turn, Donkey will always there. Donkey soon becomes one of the viewers' favourite characters, his catchy songs that seem to be remembered weeks after.
