             Critical Thinking Styles and Forces of Influence
             When I first started working for my current employer, a good management team was the asset they most lacked. A successful manager brings a lot to an organization by providing leadership for the employees. Providing good problem solving and decision-making, open and honest communication between managers and employees, and solid planning creates an environment of trust between the employees and management. This helps the employees to feel valued and to feel there is a positive future within the company. In turn employees feel positive about their work place, and tend to work harder, and give more to ensure a success within the company. An unclear goal within the company, delayed and ineffectual problem solving and decision-making, and vague communication creates an environment of distrust between employees and management. When this happens employees no longer feel positive about their work environment, and they tend to not have the motivation necessary to work up to their full potential, and give what they can to ensure success within the company. Our company had gone through several managers on third shift in the year prior to my hire date, and the current manager had only been there for about 3 weeks. It was very difficult for the employees to learn to trust management because there was a new manager too frequently, and the general manager often put too much pressure on the new manager for him to successfully provide support and communication to his employees. Instead the new management came in like a tiger, many people were fired or quit prematurely. This resulted in an effective and trusting manger/ employee relationship being hard to establish.
