fraction and have not understand the idea of fraction fully. Finally, the biggest section they had trouble with was the Place Value section. Out of the 8 questions, the 4th graders had trouble with 4 of the questions and the 5th grader had a hard time with 3 of the questions. All three subjects were unable to answer the stereo question where the stereo costs $230 and they must figure out how many $10 bills they need to pay for it. In contrast, while the 4th graders were able to solve a similar problem with bigger numbers (instead of $10 bill, it was with $1000 bill and the cost was $2,408,000) after referring them to the original question that had smaller numbers, the 5th grader was still unable to solve this new problem. All of them also gave the same wrong answer for question #23 where they have to figure out how many tenths are in 4.67. Instead of saying 46.7 tenths, they all answered 6 just because the number 6 was in the tenth place. Furthermore, the 4th graders had a hard time placing larger numbers such as 352097, 90325, and etc. in order from smallest to largest. W
