For someone to be able to predict human action using causal laws even before it has taken place seems to remove any free will, because it imples humans do not have the choice to decide what they are going to do. Once free will is removed, then it would appear that we have no moral responsibility, this is because moral responsibility is a product of our own free will - because we choose our actions, we are responsible for them.
             The opposite extreme to hard determinism is the theory of libertarianism. Like hard determinism, libertarianism also argues that in order to have free will we must be able to originate our choices, but contrary to hard determinists who believe we dont originate our choices (because they are determined), libertarianists believe that we do originate our choices (because we are not determined).
