eads to criminal behavior and without a good education many black children are being prepared for the street, the drug culture, violence and unemployment, prison and death. Black children will be unable to compete with the best and brightest student from all parts of the world in the job market without adequate education.
             Next, the government offers vouchers to a selected amount of inner-city children to attend school outside their surroundings. The voucher programs sounds like a good program yet it still leaves the poorest children in the worst schools. It would be better if the government allotted monies for the inner city schools and helped all children instead of just a few.
             Since the government and the school system is not doing what their supposed to do to educate black children , we must take matters into are own hands. Before blacks could even go to school we found ways to read, write, and educate ourselves. We can no longer wait on others, we must do the jobs ourselves and believe that we can achieve greatness.
