             George Washington was the father of our country, and will keep that title forever more. He taught us that strength and patience goes a long way if you work towards it. Washington became our first official president and to me will stay number one forever. Reading and learning about him and the revolution made me really think about our independence and rights!

             George Washington was the father or our country.
             Our famous father, George Washington was born on February 22, 1732. George was born in Westmoreland county Virginia. When Washington was seven years old he moved to Rappahannock River, across from Fredericksburg, Virginia. This was where George was raised. George had five siblings. There was Elizabeth "Betty" who was born in 1733, Samuel who was born in 1734, John Augustine "Jack" who was born in 1736, Charles who was born in 1738, and Mildred who was born in 1739 and died the following year.
