someone who attempt to prevent conflicts from arising. I believe Europe's issues are just that, theirs. The EU is attempting to accomplish a lot but without a joint effort they are not going to get anywhere. I would like to see the EU work, however I strongly believe the nationality, ethnocentrism, and plain stubbornness will succeed in destroying it and causing further conflicts within the next ten years.
             Hoof and mouth disease is a highly communicable viral disease of cows and pigs. It also is an affliction of cloven-hooved mammals such as deer, sheep, and goats. A virus causes the disease. This virus has an amazing ability to remain alive although its host is not. HMD can remain viable in straw beds, on clothing, in carcasses, in water sources, and even in the pastures where the animals graze. There are seven types of viruses known to cause HMD. Victims can have one or several strains of the virus at one time. Even though animals have one strain and build immunity, other strains can repetitively infect the animal. The disease can be spread a number of ways. People where contaminated clothes while caring for other livestock, infected animals being introduced to "clean" herds, contaminated vehicles being used to transport other animals, feeding infected animal byproducts to healthy animals, and livestock that are susceptible to the disease are given contaminated water.!
