They were afraid of the republican party taking over the white house. The ridiculous fear
they had was much like a policy in Germany. This country did not need a domination of
one party, it needed movements, and if a certain party was able to capture the needs of the
country, it probably suited the job better. The reason he was voted for presidency, is
because the citizens were perplexed by the situation with Iran, and the U.S. Everyone
thought that Reagan was up for the job to be able to handle foreign conflicts. The voter
were correct in their choice. President Reagan was able to handle foreigners, economics,
and politics all together. He was an amazing president. The country could never be good
enough . It can always grow, and he helped it do that. Ronald Reagan was able to
strengthen the nation in most of the weakness it had. He tried to build it up over time it
fell. The year of 1983 had plenty of falls, and his job was to take care of them. His major
accomplishments were in the fields of taxes, employment, foreign affairs, interest rates,
and politics. The Reagan administration was able to accomplish a lot through every issue

in economics. The economy was not overly good. However, it sure did test the Reagan
administration. The way he handled the economy reflected on everything back then, and
today. The opponnents of the republics sure did have a negative vibe on Reagan in his
policies with Economics. Since the Great Depression of the 1930's there was much to be
compared. The same party was in control during the Depression. That already was a
