Who is nurturing our children?
Unfortunetly, there is not a sole attitude to help affected ones in this high school. Clearly, we see no collaboration among teachers. The social relationship between authorites and co-workers are broken up. Additionally, there is no punctuality and teachers are not well prepared to give classes. There is no concordance between what they say and what they do. These misattribuitions affect the learning process. Students are unable to understand what is being taught. These problems reflect on their assignments, which are not done successfully. Students' behaviors deterioate profoundly. They start to fight with one another and they lose interest in learning.
Ecuador's eduaction suffered a huge change during 1996-1997. The Ministry of Eduaction set up a new reform. They wanted to change the mind of young people by educating them through moral values so they would develop into eduacative adults. Hopefully, we can see the outcome of this project in the future.
Researching this problem is helpful since it enables us to evaluate a new reform. All educative projects have to emply these values as an impotant part in eduaction.
This project will be very useful for high school authorities. It will enable them to make consciuos decisions about the improtance of education.
What does eduacation mean? And What is the role of values?
Education is deteriorating these days. Authorities are asking teachers to do their best to improve the learning process. Parents can't lose control over their children. Tecahers, parents and authorities should help guide children in the right direction by nurturng them through an effective eduactional system. This should be a big deal to all of us.
Personally as an investigator, it is very important to provide statistics and present some suggestions to a possible solution to this eduacational problem while getting a dregree.
