Conflict in N. Ireland

otestant Loyalist party is called the Ulster Democratic
             Party and is lead by Gary Micheal. Both of these parties are said to be involved with the
             Ulster Freedom Fighters, which is a paramilitary group. There are also paramilitary
             groups for both sides. On the side of the Republicans is the IRA which is the most
             forceful military group and fights for the independence and the reunion of Ireland. It is
             often associated with the Sinn Finn political group. On the Loyalist there are the Ulster
             Volunteer Forces, the Ulster Defense Association also called the Ulster Freedom Fighters.
             They believe in the direct rule of Northern Ireland by Great Britain. They fight against
             the Catholics, defending their beliefs.
             Great Britain is also a major player in the conflicts and the aftermath of Northern
             Ireland. The government of Great Britain took over Northern Ireland and has had
             problems keeping it under control ever since. The list of kings and queens who have been
             involved over the years is long. A few that were involved included King Henry II, Queen
             Elizabeth, and King William III. Great Britain has assisted in peace talks and proposed
             different possibilities for Northern Ireland, but nothing worked until the Belfast
             The United States has also more recently become involved in Northern Ireland.
             While they were not involved directly in the conflict, they have helped in the aftermath.
             There is an American company called the American Management Business Internship
             Training program. They are committed to helping Northern Ireland and other border
             counties with job training and economic development. This helps to enhance the
             technical and social skills of the workers being trained.
             As for the history of the conflict, it started back in the late 15th century. Settlers
