In 1936, Allan M. Turing, a logician, documented that it is mathematically possible to make a "computer" that will be able to calculate any mathematical question, if formulated in a clearly distinct method. During 1938, William Hewlett and David Packard found a place to live near Stanford University where they begin their graduate work. Packard and his wife, Lucille, lived in an apartment within the city of Palo Alto, California.
