In America we are a nation of many qualities, opinions lifestyles, cultures and talents and every individual personality makes us the democratic society we are. This lead us up to assignment one in which the class broke into five groups for a panel discussion the groups consisted of American founding values, Rome's influence on western culture, U.S. Christianity's influence on western culture U.S. Greece's influence and Other influences on U.S. and western values. Each group was responsible to address a topic in our discussion and present a paper. This enlightened the class to a better understanding of our current time values. Week five of this course or focus shifted to individual civil responsibility, a critique of American founding values, and community and government issues.
