             Both my parents are in good health (ages 53, father; 49, mother) and have never had any serious medical problems. My brother, age 24, is and has been in good health and never has suffered from any medical complication. I also have had a healthy life, never having gone to the hospital for any illnesses.
             Due the obvious increased risk and more probability for me to become ill or die from heart disease because of my family background there are things that I certainly need to avoid or only have low levels in my life in order to lower the likeliness of harming myself in the future. Things like smoking, obesity, stress, lack of exercise, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. Other diseases that would make me more susceptible to getting heart disease would be diabetes, which is also in my family. But by eating foods that are low in cholesterol help decrease levels of fat and cholesterol in the blood.
