Fast forwarding to the present day, our culture is becoming more and more influenced by popular culture and its intriguing images. Personally, I take a cautious approach when I watch shows on tv, even movies that use innuendos to slyly make a point. There is an abundance of bad entertainment in our culture. Television shows that set bad examples for young children with foul language, explicit behavior, and humor involved as to make everything okay. Young children and teens of today spend much of their free time watching tv shows such as those on MTV and in turn get ideas on how they want to wear their clothes and talk to their friends and peers.
